St. Louis Grocery Stores – Sappington Farmer’s Market

Posted on: July 24, 2010

This is the fifth in a series of posts on grocery stores in the St. Louis area.  You can find the other articles in the series here. I hope you find the info helpful!

Sappington Farmers Market

  • One location only, but worth checking out if you live within a reasonable distance (store located on Watson Road between Elm and Laclede Station)
  • Runs specials on Thursdays for $10 off purchase of $50+ with in-store coupon
  • Many organic products, and an emphasis on being “green”
  • The store composts all of their unused produce
  • Is not open 24 hours
  • Does not double coupons
  • Farmer-owned
  • Fairly easy to manuever with young children, including a train running on a track above the center of the store
