Faust Park in Chesterfield

Posted on: August 21, 2010

Yesterday the kids and I ventured (all the way) out to Chesterfield to see the newish playground at Faust Park for ourselves. My conclusion? It pretty much lives up to the hype!

The main section of the playground, visible in the photo, is for kids 4-5 and up. There is also a portion of the playground that was to the left in this photo; it’s designed more for the 2-3 year-old set.

And guess what happened while we were there? My one year-old took her first two steps! Happy Dance!

Some things to consider when visiting the playground at Faust Park:

  • Lovely playground with swings and baby swings, geared for children 2-12
  • Lots of opportunities to practice climbing skills with climbing walls and an array of “ladders”
  • Beautiful restroom with changing station close by
  • Spongy “tile” floor
  • Stroller-friendly
  • Benches on perimeter, with some in the shade

While you are at Faust Park, consider a trip to the Butterfly House, the Carousel,  or a stroll through the Historic Village, all of which are located on the park property.
